About the client:

The US National Park Service is responsible for all the designated national parks across the US, including Yellowstone, Yosemite, and Grand Canyon. It’s also responsible for promoting the park’s welfare and educating citizens on its conservation.

The challenge:

The National Park Service needed audio description (AD) for its “In Depth” series spotlighting Yellowstone’s wildlife. 

The ADs particularly needed the right balance of accuracy and creativity because many of them featured minimal dialogue — just animals and geysers in their natural habitat.

Our solutions:

Because Yellowstone National Park’s videos have more visuals than dialogue, we made sure our ADs were descriptive and compelling to provide visually-impaired viewers an engaging experience. 

We also created both standard and extended ADs to fit in the necessary descriptions.
